School is out!

Filed under: Uncategorized — angiebaker @ 1:03 pm

Good morning everyone, we’ve had some mighty warm weather lately. The kids have been living in there little kiddie pool. I’d like to climb in too, but I don’t think there be much room left to play, so I sit under the shade and melt :(, with my “frosty” drink.

Anyhoo, my eldest daughter just had her last day of JK yesterday and this is what we gave her fabulous teacher. A bag we picked up from the $ store and added some pics to it. And also from the $ store was this little wooden apple that I painted and decorated and added a couple goodies.  She loved it!!

Just a quick post today cause I’m off to the gym…I haven’t been all week so this is gonna be tough!!! ug…

Thanks for stopping by.

Part II GD.

Filed under: Cards, The Town Scrapper — angiebaker @ 1:16 pm

Hello there, I’m really falling behind on posting but I haven’t had much time for creating. This however I’ve had done for some time now. This was the second card I did for Phebe over at The Town Scrapper.

The stamp is from Paper Makeup and her name is Lily. I coloured her with my copics and added some Stampendous crystal glitter to her wings with my glue pen. Cut her out with my oval Nesties. Pop dotted her second scoop of ice cream and added some crystal laquer to it as well. And then I found these teeny tiny little gems in all sorts of colours at Lensmills. They have a good selection of goodies, and cheap!! I added them to her necklace and her shoes.

The paper and the rest of the embellishments are from Phebe’s.

Hope you have a fantastic day, and be sure to check out Sheila’s 12 hour sale over at SGD.  Tomorrow.

Guest Designer Debut…part 1

Filed under: Cards, The Town Scrapper — angiebaker @ 12:46 pm

Good morning, looks like it may be another rainy day just like they said it would be. All the more reason to stay inside and play.

Remember awhile back when I mentioned that I got one of the Guest designer spots at The Town Scrapper. Well this is one of the cards that I designed. This is a  Motivet stamp, you’ll  find them at Phebe’s.  There’s a whole bunch of these adorable squirrels.

I coloured her with my copics, cut her out with my nesties and used my MS border punch down the one side. The patterened paper and the embellishments came from Phebe’s. As well as the sentiment.

I just want to thank Phebe again for the chance to design for her. It’s been sooo much fun, I look  forward to next months cards. And making another road trip to visit her and all of her fantastic goodies.

Have a great day!  I’ll post the second card tomorrow,

Summer Anya

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 12:21 pm

Hello, it’s me…I’m back.  I haven’t gone anywhere but I’ve so busy I have been falling behind on everything. Housework, laundry, playing…does that count?  It does to me!  I have NEW goodies that haven’t even been out of there package yet, it saddens me. I know there lonely, why did you buy me if you weren’t going to play with me. *Sigh* Soon I promise.

Anyhoo, todays card is from the  Anya’s set  Rain, Snow, Shine. I love these little girls, so much fun to colour, and I picked up five new shades of Copics with some of my cash from the SGD  garage sale. I added some crystal laquer to her shades and some glitter from my star dust pen to her bow. The ribbon is dots to dashes and the rest of the goodies are oldies so I don’t remember where there from. Sorry, I do know the little “thingy’s” in the middle of the Prima flowers are from dollarama, always finding some goodies there.

Hope you have a great day, looks like the rest of the week is going to be pretty wet. A good reason to stay inside and stamp, I mean clean…noooo I mean stamp. Housework can wait.

Thanks for stopping by.

Rock Star

Good morning, well I finally finished my daughter’s Birthday card and she loved it! All the glitter and sparkles, what’s a girl not to like, right? When I bought this High Hopes stamp months ago I totally had my daughter in mind, she’s always walking around the house “singing”, remember she just turned five. Sometimes she sounds pretty good, other times it ‘s a bit  humourous.

I stamped the darling little girl with my memento black ink on wasau paper and coloured her with my copics. Keeping in mind all my daughter’s favourite colours. Carefully trimmed her out, which I never do, but thought I’d try something a little different. Her belt I got this ribbon bling from the SGD  garage sale, love it.  Haven’t ever seen anything quite lik it. But I thought it looked perfect on top of her belt.  Finished it with some Say it With Crystals. And ta dah. Cute eh?

Anyway have a great day.

Whiff of Joy

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 12:11 pm

Good morning everyone, It’s wednesday already. Todays card is actually in the hands of my friend already. I got it in the mail last week for her Birthday on friday, ON TIME!! Can you believe it? I did.

Todays stamp is this adorable Whiff of Joy stamp that I’ll say “we” got 😉  (ROR) from the Town Scrapper   in Petrolia.

I love cookies and my girlfriend loves to bake so I thought it was very appropriate. Coloured her with my copics and used some adhesive ribbon that I got from SGD ages ago that I guess I’ve been kinda hoarding, lol. Do you do that too? Get something you like so much that you’re saving it, well I guess my GF was worth it. I used it for the first time, I also used it on another card and actually made use of the negative white part that you’d throw away, I’ll show you that sometime soon.

Have a great day.

Where oh where has the time gone???

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 5:39 pm

I know, I know it’s been a loooong time. I’ve been pretty busy with clients, getting pledges for Bark in the Park, company coming  and planning a BD party. It’s been kinda crazy. But it’s all done for now, until the 3rd BD party next month…when does it end?  It’s gonna be July before I even know it. Plus this weekend were having a street garage sale, where there will be a few stamps for sale…hmmmm, interested?

Anyhoo, speakin of garage sales I picked up this cutie at one, no not Sheila’s but that was awesome. Got tonnes of deals there. At it sounds like it was a sucess and another one to be planned in the fall. Woot, woot!! Can’t wait!

This moose is a Whipper Snapper designs, totally looks like a High hopes to me. I coloured him with my copics cut hime out with my labels nesties. Mounted him on some DCWV dp with some flowers from my stash, pearls I picked up form SGD and the other embellie was a dollar store find.  Finished it using my favourite border punch from good ol Martha.

Just a quick post so I can play catch up with everything else. I haven’t even finished my daughter’s BD card, but it’s close I’ll post that soon.

Ta Ta for now…

Top of the mornin to ya.

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 12:12 pm

Good morning, Did everyone have a good weekend? Me too. Friday like I said we were off to Markham tovisit a girlfriend *hi Tracy* and met her wonderful family. Mark new them before but it was a first for me. Really sweet people. My goodness does it ever take a long time to get there, I hate, hate long car rides. I feel nauseous, headachey, bored, and if the kids aren’t cooperating, ugh. They did really good though. So we finally get there after a brief stop here and there but it took us just a little over 3 hrs!!! Can you blame me for whining.

Anyhoo we had a really nice visit and then when we finally got home just after 10pm Mark dropped me off at my friends for the PMS night, it was late already and I didn’t have any off my stuff packed up so I just chatted and hung out. Which was just as nice.

Todays card is with an old, but new to me stamp that I picked up at a garage sale. I have a couple friends birthdays that fall on St.  Patty’s day and I know how they love to get Irish related cards, lol. I had the perfect paper that came in a DCWV set that I thought when am I ever gonna use that, but here it is. Perfect eh?

Have a great day!
