I-Top class

Good morning ladies, hope everyone had a great long weekend. We didn’t go anywhere but did spend lots of time outside and swimming in our neighbours pool. My eldest daughter is doing really well swimming on her own. She can swim the width of the pool all by herself. I’m so proud of her. My youngest thought the water was a bit too cold for her so she stayed mostly on the deck, “Instructing”  us what to do next. Anyway, it was nice to be swimming all together, including my hubby. I don’t even mind that my front lawn is torn up waiting for him to finish the landscaping that he has started.  😉 No really.

Today’s card is one of the cards I’m doing as part of my I-top class for that I’m teaching this Sat. the 12th out at Scrapping Great Deals. I’m doing a Spellbinders and Alcohol Inks class in the afternoon so if you’re free come spend the day with me.  For more information go here, under crops and classes.

I stamped up this handsome golfer from the High Hopes line and coloured him in with my copics. Cut him out with my new labels 8 spellbinders. Using the I-topper,  I made my own matching brad using some white paper that I ran through my cuttlebug with the bubble embossing folder to make the dimples on my golf ball. Then used the largest brad daddy, (yes that’s what there called) to make my brad.  There are three different sizes of brads that you can make, this one being the largest, about the size of a loonie.  Large 28mm, Medium 22mm, and Small 16mm.

You can coordinate the brads to match whatever project you are working on. A card, a layout, altered items, home decor, the possibilities are endless, and so are the materials you can use.  Designer papers is the obvious one, but you can use denim, silk, felt, quilting fabric,  corduroy, fleece, velour, candy wrappers, photos, toile, newspaper, foreign currency, tissue paper, I think I have said enough.

So if your curious and want to see more, or try the tool in my class before making the purchase. Come join me at SGD Sat. Sept 12th at 12:30, and we’ll do a couple projects. And the class is only $10, now thats’ a deal!

Have a great day, I need to go now and help my daughter prep for her first day back to school. It’s SK for her this year so I need to get her psyched up to go. Hopefully there will be no tears this year…from either one of us. 🙂
