SGD- April’s scrappin kit

Filed under: Cards, Scrapbook Layouts, Scrappin' Great Deals — angiebaker @ 9:10 am

Good morning everyone. Where has the weekend gone…I need one more day just to relax, well actually I need to do house work but that doesn’t really appeal to me, lol.

Saturday I had gone to a garage sale for scrappin goodies, I actually didn’t get much. I’m not sure what that means. Either I’m getting to the point in my scrappin life that I have it all, (Doubtful) really it was rather small. So then I went out to SGD to do a little shopping with my gift cards that I earned from selling my own stuff at their garage sale a few weeks back. So that was fun.

Then yesterday we had our Copic class at SGD, and then stayed after to plan for our next one April 18th. Can you believe I actually finished my cards last night. I had so much fun playing with the new High Hopes images I couldn’t stop myself. I was up until 1:00am but who cares I was on a roll. I’ll post a pic of them soon.

So today’s post is some layouts that I did with next month’s scrappin kit from Scrappin Great Deals. Lotsa great stuff to play with, I also did a couple cards and still have tons of leftovers. There was a sheet in the kit that had all these great scallop edges so what I ended up doing was using my exacto knife I carfeully trimmed three of the designs out and used them on three seperate layouts. I think it turned out really nice. Made the paper go along way as well.

Also be sure to stop by Sarah‘s blog to see what she  has done with this month’s kit.

Thanks for stoppin by, and if  you’re interested in next month’s kit. Check out the details here.

Have a great day!! 🙂

Wild Sprouts

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 9:15 am

Good morning, looks like another dreary day out there.  But tomorrow the sun will shine… according to the weather man.

Todays card is one I did awhile ago using a Greeting Farm stamp, perfect to give a teacher. I found this paper at a great little scrapbooking store up in Mildmay, just outside of Walkerton. Not to shabby for a small town. I stopped in to shop while visiting my parents this past weekend and picked up some more goodies.

This little girl is from the Wild Sprouts line, from the Greeting Farm.

I coloured her with my copics, used one of my label nesties to cut her out. The sentiment is from Amy R autumn sentiments and the ribbon is American crafts.

Well gotta run now, I’m going to try to post more often and become a better blogger so we’ll see how that goes.

Thanks for stopping by.

High hopes

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 9:29 am

Hello there. Just a quick post today. My eldest was sick this morning, then the dog got sick, ugh not the way to start the week. Hopefully that’s the last of it. Fingers crossed.

I have used this little rocker girl from high hopes a few times before. I just think she’s so cute. So here she is again.

I coloured her with my copics and then trimmed her out. The stars are a CB die cut that I used some silver glossy paper. The paper and the gems are from the $ store. And I tried to cut some paper into steps like she was up on stage.

Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

Copic Class

Filed under: Cards, Classes, Scrappin' Great Deals — angiebaker @ 8:30 am

Good morning everyone, isn’t this fabulous March break weather. I can’t get enough of it. We spent most of the day outside yesterday playing and (me) cleaning up, raking etc.  It was satisfying to see the yard look nicer again.

I also went downtown yesterday to get my passport so that I can go to the Mega Meet in Novi, in May. Sheila ( from SGD) is organizing a bus trip so if you’re interested check out the details here. I’m very excited, it’s gonna be a lot of fun.

Well today’s card is for the next copic class coming up on March 28th. Were focusing on clothing this time. For the Greeting farm stamp I thought it would be kinda neat to show how to do Tye dye. And the Whiff of Joy, leaving the apron off white or well worn you could say.

If you’d like to join us there’s still a few spots left. Give the store a call, and come play.

Train album

Filed under: Cards, Scrappin' Great Deals — angiebaker @ 12:04 am

Hey there guys, I have to apologize for not getting these pics posted sooner. You probably already have your albums done and I’m sure they look fabulous.

Here’s how mine turned out. My 3rd page may look a bit different from yours because the “play” stamp was added after I had stuck down the paper. Something I couldn’t have stamped before because it was likely some of it would probably get cut off.

Anyway I hope everyone is happy with their kits and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to leave me a comment.

Castle Albums

Filed under: Classes, Scrappin' Great Deals — angiebaker @ 5:54 pm

Good morning everyone. Looks like another gorgeous day out there. I’m posting pics today of a castle album that I did for Scrappin’ Great Deals.

These were pics of my girls one year for Halloween. I think this was my favourite costume with those fabulous wigs. The younger one didn’t have a whole lot of hair at this point so to see this fancy “do” on her was priceless.

We sold many album kits through SGD and if you have your kit,  I hope my instructions were clear and that the photos will help you.

Thanks again for stopping by.
