Copic card class

Filed under: Cards, Classes, Scrappin' Great Deals — angiebaker @ 8:12 am

Good morning eveyone. I hope you had a great weekend. The weather was fabulous, especially if you had some AC to go to and cool off…or a pool.

Anyway today’s card is my second card for June’s copic class held at SGD once a month.

We do a total of four and all cards this month we are using the adorable Magnolia line. Before Sheila carried this line I had none, now…let’s just say I have a few lol. 😉

I coloured Tilda in using my copics and if you look closely I added some flower soft and stickles to the dandelion fluff. I believe this Tilda stamp is  called “Fairy Dust” But I thought it would work with this background stamp. Don’t you?

Just a quick post today because it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. I always say I’m gonna be a better blogger but then…I don’t know. Excuses, excuses. I do have lots of cards that I have been working on that I’d like to show, so I’ll try to post more frequently.

I know my mom checks often and tells me “nope, seen that already” lol *hi mom* 🙂

Have a great day!!

Wedding Card

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 8:27 am

Good morning how’s everyone’s week going?  Mine is going well I’m trying to keep up on my house work but with so many new goodies in my craft room…I keep getting distracted. lol It’s like there calling to me, “come play with me”.  How could I ignore that. Right?

I went to the Mega Meet in NOvi Michigan this past Saturday and it was so much fun. Even though I had to be up at 4:20am, which is just on heard of, only for scxrapbooking would I ever get up at that time. But it was totally worth it. I don’t think I have been up that early since I was a kid and it was for a swim meet, but I don’t think it was even that early. It was funny the alarm went off and I hit snooze, my husband said just get up it’ll be easier. So I sat on the bed for like 10 sec and he said “you’re not up.” lol I know he was just trying to help cause I was paranoid about over sleeping and didn’t want to miss the bus but come on, give me a min. lol 4:20am!! Did I mention I hit the snooze…hee hee. It woke him up again 15 min later. Whoopsy. 😉 Seriously didn’t do it on purpose.

So I got lots and lots of goodies, none that I used on today’s card  cause I’ve had this one done for a while now for my mom to give to my cousin. I used this cute greeting farm couple, coloured them in using my oh so beloved copics. My new SU border punch a few pearls, some ribbon and that paper that I’ve used on few projects now from SEI,  Happily Ever After.

I also got this vintage Cuttlebug die cut so that’s what the little swirly flowers are.

I hope to get some pics taken of my newest cards and get them posted in the next few days. Show you some of my new stuff.

My copic buddy Andrea and I are getting together tonight to play and get our cards done for next month’s SGD copic class. Well… I was playing last night and was on a roll so I have one done already. We hope to show you girls that come to our class next month’s cards at this Sunday’s copic class. Can you believe it?!!

I’m crackin the whip on Andrea to get hers done. We’ll see how it goes. lol

Thanks for stopping by.

A Birthday Card

Filed under: Cards, Scrappin' Great Deals — angiebaker @ 8:27 am

Well, National Scrapbooking Day was a success over at SGD. I arrived around noon and the place was packed! Lots of make n’ takes going on, lots of socializing and when the day was done Sheila gave away over 60 door prizes!!

She has all the winners listed on her web page so if you were eligible,  be sure to check it out to see if you won. Congrats ladies! 🙂

While I was at SGD my daughter was at a Birthday party and this is the  Easel card “we” made. lol

I used a Kraftin Kimmie stamp that I had in my stash of stamped goodies. Coloured her with my copics,  added some crystal lacquer to the balloons. I used my oval scalloped nesties to cut her out. The paper and the sentiment are from Stampin Up, and the ribbon is from the garage sale so it’s unknown.

I let my daughter decorate the bottom half of the card, with some colourful balloons and a Happy birthday message, but  I had to giggle when I saw her “clouds”…

Yes that’s what she told me they were. lol

I think she did a great job. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!
