Happy Birthday Lori

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 7:49 am

So today is a good friend of mine, and scrappin buddy’s Birthday.

But this is not her card, cause…well I don’t want her to see it until I give it to her today at lunch. So I’m posting this one instead. Sneaky eh…I know  (insert eye roll) lol

Pretty simple card, took one of my many Bella stamps that I haven’t played with in ages, well truthfully never. It’s more like I collect them and don’t get around to using the old ones cause I keep buying more. There must be other’s out there like me right?!!

Well I’m off. Just wanted to give a shout out to my girlfriend and hope she has a terrific Birthday.

Happy Birthday Lori.

Luv ya hun!!  mwah xox

Woo hoo, vacation!!!

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 8:29 am

Well, we’re off to our friends cottage for the weekend. Most likely our last getaway for the summer. I can’t believe the kids are back to school in 10 days.  It’s crazy how fast summer went. It was a good one though, besides Dylan breaking her arm…speaking of which she seems to be doing quite well with a speedy recovery. Kids heal so quick. Thank goodness cause you can hardly slow them down.

So I thought I would post surfing Miles, cause you know I’m such a surfer myself, lol 😉

I found this fun tropical paper in my stash used me nesties to frame Miles, my MS border punch and used my CB die cut to creat this slide tag for the perfect sentiment from Amy R summer set.

Gotta run, have lots of packing to do before we leave. Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Happy Anniversary

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 8:58 am

Good morning, it’s been a while hasn’t it.

Today’s card is one that I made my hubby for our 7th anniversary back in early August.

I believe the image is from Stampavie Love Bubbles. I thought this cute couple reminded me of us. However we haven’t known each other quite that long. lol

I coloured these cuties’ with none other than my copics. Used my nesties to cut them out and inked around the edges a bit. I used my new Creative memories wavy paper trimmer on the pp but then I covered most of it up. I added a bow and used my MS double hearts border punch. I’m loving punches  lately, I can’t get enough. They can add so much to a card or a layout, by simply adding a creative edge. Love em!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 9:03 am

Good morning paper crafters.

My friend Andrea invited the girls and I to her daughter’s  Halloween/costume  party last night . So I had the chance to use this adorable new “Witchypoo” from Kraftin Kimmie’s latest release. I don’t typically make a lot of Halloween cards, well that’s not actually true.. .I make them but I don’t hand them out. lol

But with the birthday party I got to play with this new image and my new MS cobweb punch. I added a bit of bling to the middle of each cobweb and used my spellbinders to cut out the sentiment, which is from the Amy R  Autumn set.

We had a lot of fun playing games, a dance contest, and decorating cupcakes. We got home and the girls were shouting to their Dad and Grandma,  “that was the best party!”

Thanks again for inviting us. 🙂

August Copic Class

Filed under: Cards, Classes, Scrappin' Great Deals — angiebaker @ 9:20 am

Did everyone have a nice weekend??

We did, the weather actually cooperated,…weren’t they calling for rain??  The grass needs it, but I’m glad it didn’t.

Sheila had a staff BBQ on saturday, which originally I wasn’t going to be able to make it. But my plans got changed so we got to go.

We had sooo much fun, thanks again Sheila for a great afternoon!!! The girls had a blast!!! Dyaln even had a chance to “swim”  a bit later when things had quieted down, so she was quite happy. She seems to be doing better each day, so hopefully it’s a speedy recovery.

This card is one of my cards that I did for this month’s copic class at SGD. I used Snow White from KKS.  I love this image, and the possibilities are endless.

Thanks for stopping by.

Good morning stampers.

Well talk about excitement in my life. Tuesday my eldest daughter was on a playdate and they were at a park playing on a hill, she fell…and broke her right arm. The handsome 😉 Dr. said that it is an uncommon break because it’s not her forearm or elbow, it’s actually high on her arm just below her shoulder. So she doesn’t have a cast, just a sling to support it and keep it still…which is hard to do for an active 6 year old.

She’s doing really great though, all things considered. So that’s my news.

So I thought this card was an appropriate one to post with my news. This cute little swiss pixie lying down relaxing.

Thanks for stopping by.

Tools & supplies: Paper is from Bobunny, MS  border punch, Spellbinders Fancy Tags Shapeabilities, sentiment from Michael’s, prima flowers &  $ store pearls.

Happy Birthday Megan

Filed under: Cards — angiebaker @ 9:07 am

Oooooooooohhhh I’m tired!!!!!!

A bus load of us went to the stamp convention in Novi Michigan yesterday and it was a blast. But the combination of not being able to sleep the night before and having to be up at 4:45am and shopping all day was a bit rough. I know poor me right?!! lol

We laughed a lot and had tons of fun shopping, got lots of goodies, none of which I’ll be showing in today’s card. But hopefully soon.  Mostly punches really, I’ve been on a real punch kick lately and with so many new ones coming out. Have you seen the new larger ones from EK success??…they’re adorable!!!! Ohhhhhhh and the newest spellbinders release…..I got one!!! Sooo beautiful, I can’t wait to try them out.

Now today were off to a 3rd Birthday party so I coloured up this cutie from the Greeting Farm. Kept it fairly simple using my scalloped oval nesties to frame her and some flowers from my stash with a few $ store pearls. Voila.

Must run to go and get ready.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
